Coach Alan Watt Taking a Break for Treatment

Golf lessons Edinburgh

We want to share some important news regarding our Coach Alan Watt. Alan will be taking an extended break from coaching, starting October 1st, 2024, to focus on his treatment for Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow cancer).

The good news is that Alan's treatments are going very well, and we are encouraged by the positive results so far. If all continues as planned, we expect him to be back with us, fully energised and ready to coach again, at the beginning of the new season on April 1st, 2025.

We know you'll join us in wishing Alan a speedy recovery and a well-deserved rest during this time. His hard work and dedication, especially with our Beginner Programme, have been invaluable. Alan’s enthusiasm for helping new golfers discover their passion for the game is truly inspiring, and we are so grateful for everything he has done.

We look forward to welcoming him back soon and continuing the fantastic work he’s been doing. Until then, let’s keep him in our thoughts as he focuses on getting well.
